Intertwined Creative Direction / Stylist / Hair

Inspired by elements of East and Southeast Asian cultures, intertwined with futuristic realities, this shoot celebrates the beauty of Asian heritage. Set against striking forest landscapes, it blends diverse cultural references into a singular, visionary aesthetic. The styling reimagines traditional forms through a contemporary, interpretive lens, using a color palette of black, red, green-blue, and white - each hue referencing cultural symbolism, weaving tradition into avant-garde form.

Thủy Pham - Harper’s BAZAAR Vietnam Stylist
ft. Pant Design from Collection “Blooming Through Chaos”

Thuy Pham is a chef, author, and community activist. She founded vegan Vietnamese restaurant Mama Dut in 2020, going on to become a 2022 James Beard Award semi-finalist inthe “Emerging Chef” category. In 2024, Pham became Development Manager at Growing Gardens, a Portland, Oregon nonprofit, where she develops programs that promote equitable access to gardening for a more sustainable and just food system. Her work has been featured on Netflix’s Street Food USA and in The New York Times, Cosmopolitan, and Eater, among many other outlets. Her debut cookbook Mama Dut will be published by HarperCollins in 2027.

Subjects of Beauty Stylist / Hair

Set within a manufactured, oppressive world, “human fashion experiments” are created, controlled, and discarded by the fashion and beauty industry. After enduring cycles of manipulation and unrealistic expectations, they begin to escape. The work explores the physical and emotional toll of existing under constant scrutiny, framing liberation as both fragile and defiant.
